Happy Halloween to all! Here are our favorites from two nights of trick or treating. We went to our church's Halloween party and enjoyed soups, games, prizes, and a costume parade on Saturday. On Halloween night, we hit Norb and Sabra's street. In all, we made out very well. I am finding ways to eliminate all this candy without eating it myself. (Some was used in the party bags for Ethan's party guests and some will be saved for Christmas stockings.)
Landon was our little pirate. He really got into the whole free candy thing. He has a limited vocabulary at 1, so it is pretty funny to me that one of his words is candy.
Spiderman! Watch out, he'll get you with his web.
Jared carved a pumpkin for the contest at church. It is a witch stirring her brew in light of the moon. He did a great job. He did not win, but had a great time using his new pumpkin carving tool. There were some pretty cool pumpkins. A friend of ours carved Yoda into his and another church goer carved Mitt Romney in front of an American Flag. I thought that one was pretty hilarious.
