February 18 was a wonderful day! Grayson turned 3 months old. He is growing so fast and already seems to be outgrowing my lap. His hair is as awesome as ever. Grayson spends most of his day smiling and watching his big brother. He is starting to fill out his 12 month onesie a little more this month. Other than getting chubby and becoming a smiling fool, Grayson has started "talking." Well, cooing like babies do. He is also holding himself up a little better with a little support from Mom and Dad. He is a sweet thing and we love him!

Valerie and Dana had their little boy on February 18 around 1:30 PM. He is named Hunter Nalu and weighed in at 8 lbs, 1 oz. I think he looks a lot like Dana. Everyone is home from the hospital now and doing pretty well. (Nalu means wave in Hawaiian.)

Finally, I celebrated being endowed for 10 years on February 18! Holy smokes, a lot of time has passed since my first trip to the temple. It has been a busy 10 years and at times very difficult, but mostly it's been wonderful. Especially the last 5 or 6 years: )

Update

So, it's been a little while. Here is an update. Ethan loves APPLES! He prefers to eat a whole one. Dangerous and messy. I know, I am a terrible mom. Here he is chomping away.

I finished another craft challenge project. This is an afghan I made for my mom and dad for Christmas. I did finish in time, just forgot to take the picture. I owe Myndie and Brooke something and I haven't forgotten. Still figuring out what to do and when I'm going to find the time to do it. I think it turned out great and is a perfect "snuggle up on a cold day" blanket.

After a bath, we tried to tame Grayson's hair. We combed it and he looked sooooooooooooo cute! And, much older than a two month old. It didn't last long. By morning he had his crazy hair back.

Grayson has also found his hand. He licks and sucks on it as if it were an ice cream cone. I am determined to get a picture and will post it when I do. He is sleeping better at night and usually won't wake up until 5 AM or later. The latest on record is 6:37 AM. That was a good night!

Jared has started a new semester and is busier than ever. We are excited that he will be finishing his degree this year. Woo and Hoo! I started back to work this week and it was refreshing to get away for a little while. I only worked a few hours, so I am easing back in.
