Hiatus

I have been barely treading water the last couple of months. That is momlife sometimes! Just gotta go with it. I feel a little overwhelmed to do individual posts to update everyone! Instead, I am going to post a photo update!!!!!!!!

Handsome Face and I spent our Anniversary celebrating at Epcot! Trivia: on the night he proposed, Jared took me to Epcot JUST TO SEE THE FIREWORKS! We had a great time!

Weston who is usually full-throttle fell asleep at church and I got a solid hour and a half of snuggles.

I spent May working my butt off in my business. I have the best co-workers.

Soccer season ended! The boys played hard and developed more skills. Very proud of them all.

I got a well-deserved mom-cation with my three besties in NC to see Bethany and new baby, Benson.
If you missed our music video, click here!

With soccer over, special nights are back! Love spending one on one time with my sweet babes.

My amazing Sunday school class completed a scripture challenge I gave them. We celebrated with pizza and board games!

Mother's Day 2017. My children and dear husband spoiled me and gave me the most beautiful and touching homemade gifts!

The saga that is the HOA trying to banish my chickens has been resolved. Our girls can stay and a fence is going up soon!

End of school year celebrations!

Mrs. Fields will undoubtedly be Grayson's favorite teacher of all time. He had a fantastic year.

Mrs. LaRue was a lovely teacher and Landon adores her!

Mrs. Morales was an excellent teacher. Ethan grew academically and as a leader in her class.

JoAnn and I got to see Dave Ramsey live! It was amazing. I have big financial goals and Dave is helping me make my dreams a reality.

It just never ends!

Blueberry picking with Gigi! This is definitely becoming an annual thing.

Gigi knows how to spoil me! Chicken boots for the Chicken Lady!

Took all the kids to the beach. Not entirely by myself, as some amazing friends joined us. But, it was a big deal for me to do this on my own and I am still talking about how awesome I am. Hahaha.

Poor Landon got his fingers caught in the door jamb at church. It resulted in an ER visit. Thankfully no broken bones and we were able to glue things back in place.

This boy has a huge vocabulary and melts me heart with this look and a few others.

Drove to Gainesville with our favorite family, the Schroth's, and posed with the Ants and explored the Museum and thoroughly enjoyed the Butterfly exhibit.

After 10 months, Jared and I finished our Budapest puzzle. We enjoy the challenge, but more importantly, we enjoy the talks and singing that occur during the time we spent together.

Got a visit from my dear friend, Elisabeth! She even volunteered to wake up early and work out with me. I miss her and love her!

It's Gonna Be May!

Photo Update!

My Garden is actually doing pretty well. It has already exceeded my expectations because I had pretty low expectations. Definitely planting more green beans next time. They were so good. We've also had a couple of cucumbers and look at one of my 4 watermelons!

Muffins with Moms selfie at the school.

Another honor roll assembly!

My hobby: LAUNDRY!

Playing kickball after school with friends!

Jared's team won the annual HOLA soccer tournament at work!

Silly field trip selfie!

Love when my man makes breakfast and gives me the special plate to boot!

Trader Joe's field trip with friends.

Sunday morning snuggles!

I'm behind, so here's a little photo update

I continue to try new recipes that my kids refuse to eat. Good news is that Jared and I thoroughly enjoy not sharing them. This is a German Apple Pancake, definitely a new favorite!

With Landon gone to school, we get bored pretty easily. The new swing set helps us through the day.

Miriam let me do her hair and wanted to pose for some pictures.Definitely a little ham.

Our amazing neighbor built his chickens a new coop, so he gave us his old one! We are going to paint it and get some chicks in a few weeks. Jared is also going to build an extension, so they have more room to run. I don't want them free-ranging until we get our yard fenced in.

Ethan made the All A honor roll again! He works so hard and we are proud of him. Here he is with his buddies Jayden (above) and Elijah (below).

Weston enjoying his first pancake.

Bought this handy thing to organize my lids with. Definitely worth the $6.

Enjoyed a hike through the Hidden Waters Preserve with our friends, The Scroth's. We put our toes in the stream and explored a ravine. It was so fun and only minutes from the house.

Grayson has had the gross sickies twice in the last week. I got suspicious when no one else got it. Stomach bugs typically spread like wildfire. Pretty sure it is related to his lack of hygiene following the handling of our new baby dragon. Also, he admitted to kissing it a lot.  We've reviewed handling requirements and hopefully he won't suffer again.

Jared is a good guy and has been volunteering a lot with our church's Boy Scout troop. On this night, he is freezing his butt off in an airplane hanger on a pretty cool camp out. We are snuggled in our warm house, eating junk food and watching a movie.
