Stacey's Shower

My little sister, Stacey, and her husband, Joe, are having a baby girl in March. She is going to be so beautiful, I already know! We had Stacey's shower a week ago, on Valentine's Day. It was a lot of fun and she went home with some good loot. I made her a baby blanket, but didn't get a picture of it. Shame on me. Here are some pics my cousin took: )

15 Months!

Holy smokes, I think Ethan is no longer a baby. He is a full blown toddler! I have been in denial for weeks, but am finally accepting the truth. We went to the doctor on Friday and here are his latest stats: Weight: 24lbs; Height: 30 1/2"; Words: 14; Teeth: 8 in, 2 almost in, so 10. The doctor says everything is right on track. Pacifier has started pushing his teeth forward, so I was told to get rid of it. Ethan usually only uses it to sleep with, but I don't want him to look goofy, so I did it yesterday. So far so good.
Ethan is such a joy in our lives. He is super cute and always doing new things. He is also a very good boy and minds his mama and dada. On Friday, when Jared came home, he happened to be standing at the window and saw his daddy. He started yelling "Dada" over and over again and running around the kitchen. When Jared came in the door, he attacked him with a huge hug. So cute! Jared and I truly love being parents. This past 15 months hasn't been super easy, but it has been filled with a joy we never knew possible.
